Edita Vilkeviciute attended the Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren’s couture show this evening at Place Vendome for the close of the Paris Haute Couture Week. The show opened with an ethereal fashion performance by members of the Royal Dutch Ballet Company, accompanied by gentle Nils Frahm piano music. The ballerinas wore yards and yards of flesh-coloured latex with their hair frizzed to appear ghostly as they paraded slowly en point to the music.
At the end of the show the advertising campaign was unveiled for Viktor and Rolf‘s new feminine fragrance ‘Bonbon’. In the image, photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin depict Edita in painted ribbons and bows wrapped around her otherwise nude body.”No, I’m not naked, I’m wearing the perfume”. “It’s like a tattoo,” she said, adding it took two people eight hours to paint. “I love nudity. I think the [human] body is really beautiful, but I have never done anything like this before,” she said. “I didn’t want to take it off.” Jump suit by Viktor and Rolf.
